FAQ

Frequently asked
questions

Not at all. Dr. Jeong conducts all consultations in fluent English, and we have English intake forms available. We warmly welcome international patients.
Yes. Eligible foreign residents with Korean NHI can access co-payment pricing: Acupuncture ₩11,000, Cupping ₩3,000, Chuna ₩13,000. Diagnosis, Miniscalpel-needle, and Bee Venom Acupuncture are not covered. Please present your insurance card at reception.
We are open Monday to Friday 09:30–18:00, and Saturday 09:00–13:00. We are closed on Sundays and all Korean public holidays. For same-day appointments please contact us via KakaoTalk or WhatsApp by 17:00 on weekdays and 12:00 on Saturdays.
Acupuncture needles are far thinner than a hypodermic needle. Most patients feel little to no pain. You may notice a brief tingling or warmth (de qi), which is considered a positive sign.
Acute problems may resolve in 2–4 sessions. Chronic conditions typically benefit from 6–12 sessions. Dr. Jeong will outline a personalised plan at your first consultation.
A mandatory allergy skin test is performed before every session. An emergency epinephrine kit is always on-site. Bee venom is contraindicated for anyone with a known bee allergy or history of anaphylaxis.
We provide official medical receipts and English documentation for insurance claims. We accept credit cards, cash (KRW), and mobile payment.
