Nope! Everything is available in English — forms, guides, and explanations. You'll feel right at home.
Yes! If you have Korean health insurance, some treatments are cheaper: Acupuncture ₩11,000, Cupping ₩3,000, Chuna (back adjustment) ₩13,000. Some treatments aren't covered by insurance — just bring your insurance card and we'll sort it out.
We are open Monday to Friday 09:30–18:00, and Saturday 09:00–13:00. We are closed on Sundays and all Korean public holidays. International patients are seen Tuesday to Friday 09:30–17:00, when an interpreter is on-site. For same-day appointments please contact us via WhatsApp by 17:00 on weekdays and 12:00 on Saturdays.
Acupuncture needles are far thinner than a shot needle at the doctor's office — way thinner! Most people feel almost nothing. You might feel a tiny tingle or warmth, which is actually a good sign that it's working.
A visit usually takes about 90 minutes. If you have questions or need extra time to talk things over, it may take a little longer — and that's perfectly fine.
First, you fill out a simple form. Next, Dr. Jeong checks your tongue and pulse to understand your body's balance. Then we explain your treatment plan — this may include acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, TMJ care, and more — in clear, simple terms. After that, you receive your treatment.
It depends on your condition. Most people take herbal medicine for about 1 to 2 months as a starting course. Long-term or chronic concerns usually need 3 to 6 months. Dr. Jeong will recommend the right length for you and adjust as you improve. All herbal formulas can be re-shipped to your home country by EMS, and PayPal payment is accepted.
You can see results from just one session. For the best results, we most recommend a course of 3 to 5 sessions, spaced 2 to 3 days apart. After that, a session once every 3 to 6 months helps keep the effect. Unlike laser treatments, SOOA Lifting can be done often with no side effects such as dry skin or hollow cheeks — that's its strength.
Yes! We give you an official receipt in English that you can use for insurance. We take credit cards, cash (Korean won), and mobile payments like Kakao Pay.
